BIOGRAPHY

Stewart Rowell (aka Silvertooth) is a name that has been in & around the dance music scene since the late 90s, but DJ’ing and crate digging for longer. An avid collector of 70’s & 80s’ soul, funk, disco, hip hop and of course electronic house & techno music. A former resident DJ at Cafe Mambo (Ibiza) & Home (London), he has featured on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix on two occasions.

He was the founder member of Streetlife DJs who released music on boutique French label Kitsune Music during the 00’s, and whose back catalogue of remixes includes the likes of The Prodigy, Groove Armada, The Mighty Dub Katz (Norman Cook), Queens of The Stone Age, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and ASH. They were nominated by DJ Magazine as Best New British DJs in 2008. Having held DJ residencies at The End (Viva) and Turnmills (Together) both in London, and performed all over the world including regularly for We Love Sundays @ Space (Ibiza), aswell as Club Womb (Tokyo), The Limelight (New York), Home (Sydney), Club Nitsa (Barcelona), Pacha (Ibiza), and festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Snowbombing.
